  • -When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
  • -When you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment details directly. We store only a Stripe customer ID — we never see or store your full card number.
  • -We collect the professional role(s) you select so we can personalise your content feed.
  • -We automatically collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use these solely for security monitoring and service improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • -To create and maintain your account and provide access to the service.
  • -To personalise your daily AI content feed based on the roles you have selected.
  • -To send you transactional emails such as account confirmation, password reset, and (if you opt in) a daily content digest.
  • -To process subscription payments and manage your billing relationship via Stripe.
  • -To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • -We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

  • -Authentication: We use Amazon Cognito to manage secure sign-in, including Google OAuth. Your credentials are handled entirely by these services.
  • -Payments: Stripe processes all billing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy).
  • -Infrastructure: Our service runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Data is stored in the United States.
  • -Email: We use Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to send transactional emails.

4. Data Retention

  • -We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.
  • -If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (for example, billing records).

5. Your Rights

  • -You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email address below.
  • -You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
  • -If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

6. Cookies

  • -We use cookies strictly for authentication purposes — to keep you securely signed in between visits. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

  • -WorkSmarterWith.ai is intended for professional adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

  • -We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the product. Your continued use of the service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
